About Us

SanCap Pak n Ship is owned by a husband and wife team - Dustin Dariano & Lauren Clifford. The couple were married on the Sanibel Island in 2013, and became full time Sanibelians in July 2015. By January 2017 they started what is now SanCap Pak n Ship. Prior to living in Sanibel, the couple lived and met in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. Although their educational back grounds are not in business, with hard work and the help of family and friends, SanCap Pak n Ship has continued to flourish since opening nearly 8 years ago.  If you visit the store, you will most likely see Dustin manning the counter with their bulldog Charlie snoozing nearby. 

The official, unofficial Mascot of SanCap Pak n Ship - Charlie the Bull - helps Dustin out at the shop most days (Sometimes he decides he needs a mental health day and stays in bed). When Charlie is not snoozing in the shop, or begging for treats, he is tasked with greeting the customers with a warm, albeit gnarly, smile. Charlie is 2 years old, and loves people and kids, although he's not much for fetch, he loves treats and endless scratches.
